What is ROTEX?

        From the moment we were luckily chosen into the Youth Exchange Program, we are destined to  ROTEX ! ROTEX is an organization consisting of the returned Rotary foreign exchange students ("Rebounds"). It provides all  its members a place to share their ideas, grow and learn from each other. It makes the exchange experiences even more complete by bringing continuous joy and inner growth to all!

Our Aim

　　Our primary aim is to promote interaction and growth among our members. Through organizing events and  social activities,  we exchange our concepts,  inspirations in life and learn how to plan and enforce a variety of projects . We also  act as a assistant to the inbound exchange students and counselors to the outbound exchange students. We appreciate all the help we had recieved both before the exchange and in the exchange country, and would like to pass our knowledge on to the ones who needs it. To the inbounds, we'd love to help them adapting to Taiwan better. To the outbounds, we wish to help them to get an idea of what it might be like as an exchange students, making them more prepared for the exciting yet challenging exchange year. In addition, we wish to build their identification to ROTEX so that we will have someone running the business every year! When the Inbounds first arrive Taiwan, they usually feel excited yet  a bit nervous about th upcoming year. "Will I fit in ? Will I be able to make new friends quickly? What are the things that I can or cannot do? " As ROTEX members, we all have been there! Through the inbound orientation, we prepared interesting short plays about the 4D rules, the family life, and  the school life, in hope to teach the inbounds about the situation they might encounter and  the rules they must follow to have a successful exchange year.
